The Eternal Baron Munchausen

Scythrop Glowry on Jan 3 10:40:13

Baron Munchausen has won renound in various forms--for centuries! His life and adventures began in 1785 with the publication of The Surprising Adventures of Baron Munchausen by Rudolf Erich Raspe in which he was the 18th century equivalent of Commander McBrag. Something about his wacky, unbelievable escapades around the word appealed to generations, though he seemed to be a little forgotten at times. Did you know about the original book? Did you know about the silent movie? Did you know about him at all? Do tell.
