Four Girls at Chautauqua

Four Girls at Chautauqua by Pansy (a prolific female writer of Victorian Era America) is a wonderful, wonderful piece of Christian literature. Eloquent, facinating, and inspiring. I enjoyed it immensely.

It is available for free on Google Books. It is also available in beautiful physical books, and there might be ebooks available as well.

At present I am reading the first sequel, The Chautauqua Girls at Home and it is just as good as the first book so far.

I nearly forgot to mention what it is about! Three nominal Christians and an "infidel" (teenage school friends) go to the Chautauqua Christian retreat just to have a good time, but find a lot more in store for them. It is amazing how non-preachy it is, and it's really beautiful.
