California and its Abusive Authoritarian State Policies Continue

Oct 18 08:12:58

Leave it to California and Canada to produce some of the most wrong-headed, authoritarian abusive policies to date:

"I'm tired of being told we can't say things like this... This is Dr. Ben Carson and I won't be told to quiet down. Here's the truth:

The "transgender" movement has declared war on the family, parental rights and biological reality. It's a militant cult, and without hesitation or apology, it's time for reasonable Americans of all backgrounds to defeat their vision wherever it rears its head.

Think that's a bit too much? Just read the latest news in California.

Their legislature just passed a bill which effectively says that if parents refuse to embrace the gender confusion of their child and sign off on dangerous, life-altering medications and even surgery, judges should deny them custody.

This approach cannot be reasoned with. It must be soundly defeated.

I am calling upon the faith-based community to take the lead in pushing forward, state by state, in the voting booth, in our churches, and in the halls of power."-Ben Carson

Agreed. But from what I'm seeing in the rural South, the "faith-based community" is too apathetic, complacent, forgiving (Bless their hearts!), or clueless to take the lead in anything.

Whether it's the County Commission, the volunteer fire department, the county DSS, the GOP organization, there's not just a culture of incompetence, but of good-hearted, patient acceptance of incompetence.

They're just sheep waiting to be shorn.

Rant over.

Agreed.

HA. The "type" tag got a little weird on you. I screenshotted it for Carl. Sorry about that. That'll take him all of 30 seconds to fix.

Good looking post, Tetris.

Capturing the minds of the youth has been in the works for many decades.

I met Ben Carson at a fundraiser when he was running for President. He's as brilliant yet down to Earth as you'd expect.

Yes...I think most good people struggle with the boundaries line on calling out unacceptable behavior in general and then add to it that's its an entire system that if not encourages, at least protects those with unacceptable behaviors. The fact that getting elected is often more about name recognition than actual behavior is only the first problem.

I would have loved to meet Ben Carson! What a great man. It is discouraging that it seems impossible for good men to get elected to the highest offices. Did you get to talk to him?

Again, sorry for being gone so long.

I did not get much time with him (the crowd was huge,) but I did get to see how he interacted with everyone else, too. I'm pretty good at recognizing phonies and there was absolutely none of that from him.
