These are the ground rules:
Civility - No trolling, abuse, slurs, F bombs, or personal attacks.
Tolerance - For reasoned dissent, religious beliefs, cultural differences.
Respect - For privacy, and from coercion including spamming, scamming, or doxxing. As well as polite sensibilities, meaning NO gratuitous vulgarity or obscenity, whether written or depicted. No porn.
Be respectful, even (especially) when you disagree. This is a discussion forum, not a cage match.
If called out for violating these principles, fix the issue, apologize, and move on. Arguing about clear violations will only lead to removal from the group.
These guidelines represent what the Founding members of this group consider fair and reasonable. We don't believe these standards unduly hinder discussion of any topic. While we expressly advocate respect of our members' religious beliefs, cultural differences, etc, we aren't taking religion, culture, or any other topic off the table for discussion. Feel free to raise any questions you may have.
Thank you for your consideration.

And do note that the ability to retract comments has not been implemented yet. That's a biggie on my todo list. (It has been slow in coming as there are lots of possible states for a questionable comment, and I want to game it through carefully to avoid putting the database in a bad state.)
