Thomas Malory's Le Morte De Arthur

Scythrop Glowry on Jan 16 08:21:13

Le Morte De Arthur is not great literature. It's not even good literature. Barely even tolerable literature. But as something to read around the fire for amusement, it's great. It's so bad it's funny. It doesn't portray King Arthur as the hero of the musical Camelot , that's for certain. If you are interested in reading how King Arthur conquered Rome but barely held any power over the petty kings of Britian, this is where to find such an account. Besides being helarious, it's a good warm-up for Shakespeare with all its old words.

You will be interested to know before reading it:

Hove: hover

Foin: to thrust with a pointed weapon

If you have any more questions about the words in it GOOGLE.

Also... Who Thomas Malory Was
