Conntects does not employ evil robots to figure out what you should see.
Instead, Conntects puts you in control. Whose posts do you want to look at today? Do you want to see them all or skip to the most recent? When you make a post, whom do you want to see that post? Who gets to send you a private message? Who gets to see your blog[s]? Who gets to join your group[s]?
But there is a price for such power.
With Great Control comes many controls.
With evil robots making the decisions, it is possible to make something that's super easy to use right out of the box, rather like this:
Facebook is like that toddler toy: easy to use at first, but a huge time waster long term.
When you were a child, [most of] you graduated to something rather more useful, such as this:
Learning to ride a bicycle was not easy at first, and for most people included some falls and scrapes. But once learned, a bicycle can go an order of magnitude faster and farther than a tricycle or the toddler toy above.
Conntects is a bit like that bicycle, only much easier to learn, and you won't get any scrapes and bruises.
