Cancer Update May 5

May 6 10:18:23

The bad news: a couple days of sustained fever last week. The good news: I think some cancer cells were killed. As of today, I feel some mental clarity returning and possible physical strength. (Need to test the latter by attempting some yard work this afternoon.)

The latest glamour shot:

Compare with last post:

Or the first pic in this series:

The tumor on my head has definitely shrunk, and it was bleeding less until a screen door slammed into it when I was chasing off a neighborhood cat who was picking fights against my cats.

You're definitely showing signs of progress by way of tumor shrinkage. Is your energy picking up?

I need to do an update. Much energy and strength has returned. Been frantically working in the yard trimming/cutting down bushes and getting rid of saplings before the heat becomes unbearable. The lump on my head is now multiple small lumps and no longer bursting with blood.

And the mental energy has gone up enough to make some small updates on Conntects...

WOW — it has gone down! that's great!!! i pray you will continue to heal and the next photo will exemplify even more reduction, and perhaps you'll be encouraged by that enough to smile in it!

I'm trying to maintain the same pose in each shot.

I'm now half tempted to show the actual cancer on the timeline. It's no longer horrifying to look at, but it's still real.

And the brain fog/fatigue has cleared up enough that I've started making updates on this site. For new posts (and recently edited posts), pictures get a proper magnifying glass cursor. And earlier I made a tweak on the posts lists so that by default you automatically scroll down to either where you left off or to the most recent posts. I still dislike lists which run in reverse.

Time flies like an arrow.
But fruit flies like a banana.
