More Typographical Abominations?

Remember the olde days of the Internet when there was the blink tag? It's back baby! And if you don't think that's annoying enough, there is also the flash tag! Which blinks faster.

Newsflash! Gay space aliens have also added a rainbow tag as a protest to the Trump administration.

Notice how I mixed new custom tags above. There was the marquee tag to produce the scrolling box plus a bounce tag as yet another way to draw attention, plus the somewhat more gentle rainbow tag to have words cycle through rainbow colors in a somewhat smoother fashion.

New Color Tags

I already had a red tag for red text and a yellow tag for highlighter background. I stopped there because I ran out of existing HTML tags to repurpose. But it turns out that you can add custom tags to HTML5 as long as you use the correct format. So I added the green and blue tags.

I can add more if there is interest. Specify if you want the color to be the color of the text or the highlighter background.

Caution!

With great power comes great responsibility. With these new tags you can give people headaches, especially if you apply the animation tags to pictures or large areas.

While you cannot use animations on pic tags, you can apply animations to individual pictures inside an album. I was going to use a blink tag above, but the result was way too annoying.

Yes, this will be like the early days of GUIs, when people made everything look like a ransom note with letters cut out of newspapers or magazines. Good times!
